We have implemented the local “PUNTO LIMPIO” Certification protocols, and are continuously monitoring the official statements from both the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We want you to be at ease, knowing that we are not just aspiring to these efforts—we’re committing to them.

The following are the measures we’d like to highlight for you:

• • As you arrive in Los Cabos, the SJD International Airport has implemented heightened protocols including thermal imaging, travel background checks for all passengers, and detailed disinfection processes for all public areas.
  • Our new check-in procedure is entirely contactless, including luggage sanitization before entering the lobby, shoe disinfection, and plexiglass separators.
  • Guests will be provided with a bio-security welcome kit consisting of face masks, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer. Additional face masks are available for purchase.
  • All employees and vendors undergo a temperature check and disinfection procedure prior to entering our facilities.
  • Sanitizer stations are posted throughout the hotel and restaurants.
  • Guest rooms are strategically assigned to aid in social distancing.
  • A 24-hour interval between room assignments is being implemented for our in-room refined sanitization process.
  • Employees are following high-level infection control protocol in our laundry facilities.
  • Social distancing at the hotel is reinforced with 6-foot (1.5 meter) markers placed at our Beach Club, pools, restaurants, bars, and anywhere lines are formed. 
  • We are performing a deep clean of our facilities every 4 hours.
  • We are strictly enforcing food preparation protocols, and all of our menus are now accessible via QR code.
  • All of our employees are equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to allow for modified wellbeing checks and room service.
  • We have a prepared response should a team member express concern at the possibility of exposure to COVID-19.
